Hull vs Derby prediction

Former Reading boss Ruben Selles’ Hull City come into this one on the back of an absolutely crucial 2-1 defeat of Preston North End at home on Easter Monday. The Tigers came from behind in that game to defeat the Lancastrians with two second-half penalties scored by Leeds United loanee Joe Gelhardt.

Derby County began their Easter weekend with a sorry 1-0 loss at home to Luton Town on Good Friday but John Eustace’s Rams have reignited their fight for survival with an impressive 3-1 defeat of West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Easter Monday thanks to goals from Ebou Adams, Jerry Yates and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.

This is an enormous game in the battle for survival in the Championship and a low-scoring affair would appear quite likely for this one as both sides likely feel the pinch on the penultimate day.

Hull vs Derby tip: Under 2.5 goals
