Hull vs Blackburn prediction

Hull City began their 2025/26 Championship season with a goalless draw away to Coventry City on the opening day of the season. They then suffered a dramatic penalty shootout loss to Wrexham in the EFL Cup before an even more dramatic 3-2 victory over Oxford United at home last weekend, courtesy of a late Oli McBurnie winner.

They now face Blackburn Rovers side that, under the management of the immediately under pressure Valerien Ismael, finished last season well but have started this season really badly. The Lancastrians were beaten 1-0 by West Bromwich Albion on the opening day before home defeats to Bradford City and Birmingham City in the cup and league.

Blackburn look to be in a bit of trouble already this season, and Hull, who have surprised many with their start, will fancy their chances with home advantage.

Hull vs Blackburn tip: Double chance – Hull to win or draw
