Huddersfield vs Doncaster prediction

Lee Grant is the rookie boss that has been given the Huddersfield Town job, and the Terriers had started the season very well with a couple of ‘to nil’ wins in League One and then a penalty shootout defeat of Leicester City. They did, though, most recently suffer a 3-2 defeat to ten-man Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in Lancashire the other day.

They now face a Doncaster Rovers side that have been very impressive following their promotion to League One this season, under the management of Grant McCann. They began with victories against Exeter City and Mansfield Town before a 4-0 hammering of Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup and then a 1-1 draw with Wycombe Wanderers.

Doncaster will head across the county with a bit of freedom and confidence here, but Huddersfield have to still be favourites with their home advantage for this one.

Huddersfield vs Doncaster tip: Huddersfield to win & both teams to score
