Hampshire Hawks vs Surrey prediction

It has been a difficult campaign for the Hampshire Hawks thus far but the southerners did get themselves a much-needed victory against the Essex Eagles the other day, winning by 30 runs with Scott Currie taking 4-18 for the Hawks.

Surrey have generally underperformed in T20 cricket but they topped the South Group last season and have started this campaign well, too. After hammering Lancashire Lightning at The Oval, Surrey then eased to a comfortable victory over Middlesex at Lord’s in the London derby.

Even in that victory the other day, Hampshire will be frustrated to have conceded 170 to a fairly limited Essex lineup and so Surrey will be confident of outscoring their hosts.
