Greece vs Italy prediction

Greece come into this one on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw with Sweden in their most recent outing, last week. That has continued their fairly indifferent form in the last 12 months with just one victory in their last eight matches.

They now face an Italy side that were beaten by Bosnia-Herzegovina on penalties in March in the UEFA playoff semi-finals to miss out on their third successive FIFA World Cup. The Azzurri edged past Luxembourg by a goal to nil with an unconvincing performance the other day.

A low-scoring encounter appears likely for this one in Heraklion in Crete and it may well even be worth backing the Greeks to come out on top.
