Fulham are still chasing a top eight finish and potential European qualification as the Cottagers now take on an Everton side coasting through to the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Fulham Preview: Push for Europe

Fulham come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park in their most recent outing last weekend. The Cottagers conceded after 12 minutes due to a Youri Tielemans goal and couldn’t fight their way back into the game in the second city.

Marco Silva’s west Londoners have been inconsistent throughout the campaign with their 35 matches consisting of 15 victories, nine draws and 12 defeats. They begin the weekend now sitting a couple of points and places outside of the top eight or nine and the European spots.

Everton Preview: Attention elsewhere

David Moyes’ second stint in charge of Everton has been an impressive one with the Toffees pushing comfortably towards the middle-of-the-table but the Merseysiders have since hit a tough run of form in the last couple of months or so.

In their penultimate game at Goodison Park, they took a 2-0 lead against already relegated Ipswich Town but were pegged back to a 2-2 draw by the Tractor Boys and they have now managed just one victory in their last ten matches in the Premier League.

Fulham vs Everton Prediction

Fulham have been good to watch at times this season and that is especially the case at Craven Cottage when they seek to blitz a team early on and that is something they need to do here to stand a chance of European qualification. Everton’s entire season simply revolves around the final game at Goodison Park against Southampton next weekend and their poor form of late perhaps shows the inertia of this season with Fulham firm favourites to take advantage of that this weekend.
