Under the management of former Chelsea and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri, Lazio began the season in a bit of crisis and the capital city club have lived up to those pre-season expectations with some significantly underwhelming form throughout the campaign. They begin the weekend sitting firmly in the middle-of-the-table.
The visitors come into this one, though, on the back of a much-needed victory as they edged past a struggling ten-man Cagliari side lats weekend before backing up that up by edging past Genoa in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia in midweek. They have failed to win eight of their 14 Serie A matches so far this season.
