The Parisiens had a turbulent and busy summer transfer window and it took a little time to gel but, domestically, they have been exceptional with their form.
PSG come into this one on the back of a comfortable and impressive 2-0 defeat of a stubborn Le Havre side in their most recent outing, last weekend. That was their seventh successive Ligue 1 victory and in those seven matches, they have scored a combined total of 22 goals at an average of over three per game.
NANTES
Under the management of Pierre Aristouy, Nantes come into this one on the back of a slender but important and much-needed victory. They inflicted Nice’s first defeat of the 2023/24 campaign with a 1-0 win as they now move into the top-half of the Ligue 1 table ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
The visitors come into this one with a record of five victories, three draws and six defeats in their 14 matches so far this season. Nantes had been generally very impressive to watch for much of the campaign but three of their last four matches have produced either just the solitary goal or no goals in the game.
