THE PREDICTION
Rennes’ 1-1 draw at Strasbourg last week broke their streak of four straight defeats in all competitions but manager Julien Stephan will want to see further improvement. They entertain a Lens side whose form is patchy to say the least given that they have won just once in their last five games following a promising start to the season. The visitors are vulnerable in defence and conceded another three last weekend at home to Angers SCO so Rennes should feel comfortable scoring here. The hosts aren’t exactly convincing themselves though, so backing the draw looks like the most sensible approach here.
