THE PREDICTION
PSG have taken their foot off the gas a little in Ligue 1 as they followed their 3-2 defeat to Monaco with a 2-2 draw against Bordeaux and manager Thomas Tuchel was particularly critical of his side after the latter result. They now travel to a Montpellier side in fine form with the hosts having won four straight Ligue 1 games for the first time in four-and-a-half years and they find themselves right in the thick of a tightly-congested section at the top of the table. A fifth straight win here – which would be their best run for over ten years – is a big ask though and you just feel the reigning champions will respond to their dropped points recently in the best possible fashion. Montpellier will almost certainly give a good account of themselves but expect PSG to come out on top in a game that sees both teams score.
