THE LOWDOWN

WATFORD

  • Watford played like a team resigned to relegation against Leeds Utd, showcasing a chronic lack of quality both in defence and going forward, ultimately losing 0-3 and leaving themselves firmly entrenched in the bottom three.
  • A hamstring injury will see Cucho Hernandez miss the visit of Brentford, whilst Francisco Sierralta, William Troost-Ekong, Samuel Kalu, Nicolas Nkoulou and Kwadwo Baah are all big doubts.

BRENTFORD

  • A 2-0 victory for Brentford against West Ham last Sunday has all-but secured Premier League football next season for the Bees, but they will want to finish on a high and make it three straight league wins.
  • The visitors will be without Frank Onyeka due to a hamstring injured, although Pontus Jansson and Josh Dasilva are both expected to be available following a period of illness and injury respectively.

THE PREDICTION

From a confidence perspective, these two teams are at opposite ends of the totem-pole. Whilst Watford have likely been flattened mentally following that loss at home to Leeds Utd, Brentford are full of confidence and creativity with Christian Eriksen in particular shining from midfield. Under Roy Hodgson’s watch, the Hornets have lost seven of their last 11 fixtures and their record at Vicarage Road all season has been terrible. Brentford, will be expected to pile on the misery for Watford and the Bees should be backed to secure victory, although do so via the draw no bet market for extra security.

Tip: BRENTFORD DRAW NO BET
