Everton vs Burnley prediction
Everton come into this one on the back of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park the other day. The Toffees now begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting above Fulham and in the top eight and the European spots, with the Premier League once again expected to be given the extra European spot in UEFA competition.
Burnley have shown fight of late, coming from 2-0 down to beat Crystal Palace and then snatching a point away at Chelsea. They also came from 3-0 down at home to Brentford at the weekend but the Clarets had two goals disallowed, one at 3-3 and then one at 4-3 down very late on, to succumb to a gut-wrenching loss.
Burnley are showing fight and appear to be able to put setbacks aside so could be a threat for Everton but the hosts have to remain favourites at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
