Key Stats

  • Eswatini are without a win in their last 12 World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L8). Their last FWCQ victory was a 2-1 home win against Djibouti in October 2015.
  • Angola have lost only one of their previous 15 international matches against Eswatini (W9 D5).
  • Angola have lost only two of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (D6 L2).

Eswatini vs Angola Prediction

With just a couple of games to go in African qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Eswatini have managed just two draws with six defeats in their opening eight matches. Angola, on the other hand, have been frustratingly inconsistent in their campaign, with two victories, four draws and two defeats in their eight matches.

The Angolans have been much-improved in the last half a decade or so, but they have underwhelmed in this campaign under the management of Pedro Goncalves. Eswatini most recently suffered back-to-back to nil defeats to Cameroon and then Libya during the September international break.

Eswatini have proven themselves to be among the weakest sides on the continent and, despite their inconsistency, Angola should get themselves over the line here.

Eswatini vs Angola Tip: Angola to win & under 3.5 goals
