Espanyol can't catch a break right now, but they only have themselves to blame after conceding twice late on against fellow strugglers Sevilla on Saturday. 

That gut-wrenching 2-1 defeat extended their winless run to 12 games, and they now hover precariously above the relegation zone ahead of Wednesday's action.

Athletic Bilbao's European hopes took a hit over the weekend with a surprising home defeat to a generally poor Valencia side, but they are still very much in the mix for either a UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League spot.

Espanyol are a sinking ship at the moment, and with a response expected from European-chasing Bilbao, we foresee another defeat for them.
