Doncaster vs Port Vale prediction

Grant McCann and his Doncaster Rovers side can extend their gap between themselves and the bottom four and the relegation places to five points with seven games to play should they win on Tuesday. The hosts’ 1-0 win at Oakwell against Barnsley at the weekend has extended their current unbeaten run of form to four matches.

Port Vale remain rock-bottom in the League One table. Jon Brady’s side are 11 points adrift of safety but have a couple or even three games in hand on a lot of the teams above. The Valiants also pulled off a shock win at the weekend as they defeated Bolton Wanderers by a goal to nil in Stoke-on-Trent.

Vale have been much-improved since the appointment of Brady and they will be tough to beat in their final ten games with a low-scoring encounter to be expected.

Doncaster vs Port Vale tip: Under 2.5 goals
