Neither of these teams are at this summer’s FIFA World Cup and that is somewhat surprising as Denmark now take on Ukraine in a friendly on Sunday.

Denmark vs Ukraine prediction

Brian Riemer’s Denmark missed out on automatic qualification for the FIFA World Cup in dramatic circumstances as they succumbed to a 3-2 loss to Scotland before then being beaten by Czechia on penalties in their UEFA playoff final back in March.

The Ukrainians also reached the UEFA playoffs back in the March international break. The Ukrainians were beaten by Sweden, though, in a dramatic encounter with a fifth successive failure to quality for the global tournament.

These are two of the more entertaining middling teams in European football and so both teams scoring may well be a decent bet for this one.
