PROSPECTS
Gary Anderson won all three of his matches for the total loss of just four legs as he cruised to qualification from Group 30. The Flying Scotsman’s average of 91.81 in doing was not particularly eye-catching, but he did what he needed to and of course has the scope for a much higher level of performance when pushed harder.

PROSPECTS
Luke Humphries made the most of his second opportunity when he qualified from Group 28 in style with an average of 101.83. The standout performance on the night was his 108.55 average in defeating Michael Smith and there can be no denying he is a serious threat to Gary Anderson’s hopes of topping the table in this section.

vs Nick Kenny

PROSPECTS
Jamie Lewis has waited longer than anyone else in the play-offs for a second taste of PDC Home Tour action, having earned his spot in the last 32 all the way back on night one when he topped a group containing Peter Wright. His best performance on that night was when he defeated Wright win an average of 99.74.

H2H
vs Gary Anderson
N/A

vs Luke Humphries
W1, L0
Last meeting: Nick Kenny 5-3 Luke Humphries (Apr 2020 – PDC Home Tour)

vs Jamie Lewis
W2, L0
Last meeting: Nick Kenny 4-3 Jamie Lewis (Sept 2015 – Development Tour)

PROSPECTS
Nick Kenny won all of his three matches when qualifying from Group 5. His victory against Humphries that night was perhaps a notable one given that they meet again in this group, though one feels he will have to perform to a higher level if he is to repeat that result given the performances from Humphries since then. Overall, Kenny is not really expected to be in contention for the qualifying spot in this group.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Luke Humphries -1.5 handicap vs Nick Kenny

Nick Kenny defeated Luke Humphries when they met previously in this tournament but the performances from Humphries have been much improved since then and he is capable of exacting revenge when they meet in this group.

Luke Humphries to win the group

There is some value in looking at Luke Humphries in the outright market to top the group ahead of Gary Anderson. Humphries earned a notable victory over Anderson as a challenger in the Premier League in March and his stellar performances when winning his qualifying group can’t be ignored.

Gary Anderson -2.5 handicap vs Nick Kenny

Gary Anderson dropped a total of only four legs when qualifying from Group 30 and he is tipped to make a strong start to the evening against Nick Kenny.
