Ireland vs Argentina prediction

Although they are fourth in the Northern Hemisphere standings, Ireland are still in the mix having won two of their three games back in July.

Having lost to New Zealand at Eden Park in the last of their matches during the Southern Hemisphere swing though, they will likely need to win all three of their home matches if they are to have a chance of winning the inaugural Nations Championship.

Argentina, meanwhile, endured an underwhelming July with a victory over a struggling Wales side their only success, with that win sandwiched between defeats to Scotland and England.

There have been a couple of close matches between these two nations over the years, but Ireland have come out on top in the last four meetings. With the Aviva Stadium crowd behind them, we expect Andy Farrell's side to have too much for the Pumas and we're backing them to be leading at both half-time and full-time.

Ireland vs Argentina tip: Double result – Ireland / Ireland
