PROSPECTS
Reigning World Champion Peter Wright returned to claim top spot in Group 32 having previous missed out on qualification on the opening night of the tournament. Snakebite is of course the highest ranked player in this group and a big favourite to progress to the semi-finals.

vs Ryan Murray
N/A

PROSPECTS
Cristo Reyes claimed his spot in the play-offs by winning all three of his matches to finish at the top of a tough group containing John Henderson, Danny Noppert and Ryan Meikle. A similar level of performance in this group would make him very tough to beat.

JELLE KLAASEN

Group 7 Winner – 4pts (+4)
(85.05) Gavin Carlin 2-5 Jelle Klaasen (85.36)
(93.03) Jelle Klaasen 5-3 Gabriel Clemens (96.21)
(92.67) Jelle Klaasen 4-5 Ryan Meikle (94.57)

Peter Wright 6-5 Jelle Klaasen (Feb 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Cristo Reyes
W1, L4
Last meeting: Cristo Reyes 6-4 Jelle Klaasen (June 2019 – Euro Tour qualifier)

vs Ryan Murray
N/A

PROSPECTS
Jelle Klaasen edged through ahead of Ryan Meikle on leg difference to make it through to the last 32. The Dutchman has not had a good last couple of years on the circuit, but in a short format such as this where there is no real pressure, he could be a threat.

RYAN MURRAY

2020 PDC HOME TOUR
Route to the play-offs
Group 20 Winner – 4pts (+5)
(89.98) Joe Cullen 5-4 Ryan Murray (86.37)
(88.59) Ryan Murray 5-3 John Michael (87.46)
(86.63) Jermaine Wattimena 1-5 Ryan Murray (95.93)

Stats

Average – 89.61
180s – 3 (0.13 per leg)
High finish – 121

H2H
vs Peter Wright
N/A

vs Cristo Reyes
N/A

vs Jelle Klaasen
N/A

PROSPECTS
Ryan Murray defied the odds to finish at the top of Group 20 ahead of Joe Cullen and Jermaine Wattimena. Although he performed well in patches on that night, one feels that he will have to step it up a notch if he is to repeat the feat.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Peter Wright to win and hit the most 180s vs Ryan Murray

Peter Wright should be in a determined mood to make a strong start to the evening and he is likely to be too good for Ryan Murray in the group opener. Snakebite hit a good number of 180s when he qualified from Group 32 so selecting him to hit the most 180s as well could be worth looking at.

Cristo Reyes to beat Jelle Klaasen

The bookies have Jelle Klaasen as the slight favourite to win this match, but a comparison of their respective performances in the first phase of the tournament and a look at their head-to-head record suggest that Reyes might be the value pick.

Peter Wright to win the group

Having already participated in two groups during this tournament, it is likely that Wright will be very comfortable with the format and as we are now nearing the business end of the tournament I expect that he will be well motivated to produce performances worthy of winning the group.
