Adrian Luna Martinetti: The Ecuadorian looks to join compatriots Marlon Vera and Michael Morales in the UFC ranks

With just a single defeat in seventeen professional fights, Adrian Luna Martinetti (16-1) looks the part of a UFC ready fighter on the surface. With ten finishes split almost evenly between knockouts and submissions, the Ecuadorian has never been finished, dropping his sole defeat by unanimous decision in his third professional fight. However, his strength of schedule leaves a lot to be desired; despite his impressive record, Martinetti has wins over fighters with records like 1-5, 6-6, or 9-12, and his last victory came over an 0-0 debutant.

Mark Vologdin: The 25 year old Russian prospect in search of his eighth successive victory

A defending champion in Swedish promotion AFN, Mark Vologdiin (12-3-1) has the air of an elite prospect about him. The 25 year old Russian enters this contest on a seven fight winning streak, and has only been to the judges' scorecards on two occasions to date throughout his professional career. Fighting out of the renowned Allstars Training Centre, Vologdin hasn't always fought the best competition but he's never shied away from a challenge. His sole defeat by stoppage came against Oyatullo Muminov in just his third fight, when Muminov was an undefeated 5-0 prospect at the time.

Adrian Luna Martinetti vs Mark Vologdin prediction

Pitting two high-paced bantamweight finishers against one another, this could well be the pick for Fight of the Night.

While he's fought a large number of cans on the regional circuit, Martinetti appears to be a solid fighter. He hasn't lost in almost a decade and has never been finished, boasting a well-rounded skillset that makes him a threat wherever the fight takes place. At 5'8, he will also have a notable size and reach advantage over his shorter, stockier foe.

However, with just a single loss by stoppage in his third professional fight, Vologdin looks to be extremely difficult to finish. He's got dynamite in his hands, with solid wrestling ability in his back pocket should it be required. The Russian has also on an absolute tear as of late, scoring four first round stoppages in a row to earn his shot at the UFC.

This is arguably the hardest fight to pick on the card. It could go either way, but Vologdin's power and momentum render him a slight favorite.

Prediction: Mark Vologdin to win
