Croatia vs Slovenia prediction

Zlatko Dalic and his Croatia side come into this one on the back of a fairly worrying 2-0 defeat to Belgium in Rijeka the other day. Prior to their 3-1 loss to Brazil in March, the Croats had been enjoying a nine-match unbeaten run of form.

They now face a Slovenia side that, ranked 58th in the world by FIFA, head into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Cyprus the other day. They endured a tough FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign and have now won just one of their last nine matches.

The Slovenians improved between 2022 and 2024 but have since regressed again and a more comfortable Croatia victory is to be expected for this one in Varazdin.

Croatia vs Slovenia tip: Croatia to win
