Columbus vs Cincinnati prediction

The Columbus Crew come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to New York City in midweek. Columbus had headed into MLS’ break for FIFA World Cup 2026 with a 2-0 defeat of Atlanta United after a victory over the aforementioned NYCFC in the quarter-finals of the US Open Cup.

Cincinnati, under the management of Pat Noonan, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top seven and the play-off places in the Eastern Conference. They found themselves 2-1 down after 24 minutes against the Vancouver Whitecaps in midweek but managed to overcome the Canadians with a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Cincinnati will fancy themselves to continue their attacking and entertaining form, led by the likes of Evander and Kevin Denkey, with both teams scoring seeming a decent bet for this one at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
