In their opening seven games of the campaign in the Western Conference, the Colorado Rapids have managed four victories with three defeats thus far. They most recently edged past Union Omaha by a goal to nil in the round of 32 of the US Open Cup.

Inter Miami, captained by in-form Lionel Messi, are going through some upheaval as the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield and 2025 MLS Cup winners have lost manager Javier Mascherano, who has resigned due to ‘personal reasons’.

The Floridians have been inconsistent at the start of this season but remain in a decent position in the Eastern Conference. The form of Messi is always worth backing, too, even with the current uncertainty.
