Charlton Athletic have proven themselves to be stubborn as they take on Leicester City, flailing after relegation from the Premier League season, at The Valley this weekend.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch online: UK – Sky Go / US – Paramount+

Charlton vs Leicester prediction

Nathan Jones led Charlton Athletic to promotion via the League One playoffs last season, and the Addicks started the campaign with a last gasp victory over Watford. After a defeat of Stevenage in the first round of the EFL Cup, Charlton then shared a goalless draw with Bristol City at Ashton Gate last weekend.

They now face a Leicester City side that have been worried about points deductions throughout the summer and Marti Cifuentes is under immediate pressure after a quiet window. They struggled past a chaotic Sheffield Wednesday side on opening day before a penalty shootout loss to Huddersfield Town and then a defeat at Preston North End.

Leicester are in a bit of a pickle at the moment and the pressure is growing from supporters, and Charlton are not the type of resolute side you then want to be playing.

Charlton vs Leicester tip: Double chance – Charlton to win & under 3.5 goals
