Central Cordoba have started their 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign with a victory and a draw in their opening two matches. The Argentinians were beaten by a goal to nil in their most recent outing away from home against Racing Club at the weekend in the Apertura of the Argentine Primera Division.

They face a Deportivo Tachira side that may well be one of the weaker sides in this season’s CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores and they have started their group stage campaign with back-to-back defeats. They most recently did hammer Yaracuyanos by four goals to nil in the Apertura of the Venezuelan Primera Division the other day, though.

Central Cordoba are not one of the strongest sides in this season’s competition but, especially with their home advantage, they will be expected to see of Deportivo Tachira this week.
