Cardiff City have former player Aaron Ramsey at the helm on an interim basis as the Bluebirds, battling the drop, now take on an also manager-less West Bromwich Albion side this weekend.

Cardiff vs West Brom prediction

Cardiff City begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the bottom three and the relegation places with the fewest victories in this season’s Championship, managing just nine wins in 44 games. They put in an improved performance against Oxford United last week but still had to settle for a 1-1 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium.

West Bromwich Albion have now suffered five defeats in their last six matches in the second-tier to mean the Baggies are now all but assured of Championship football again, missing out on the top six and the playoff places and they have parted company with Tony Mowbray, who came back for his second stint in charge after replacing Carlos Corberan.

Cardiff simply must win this game down in south Wales and they will be expected to push past West Brom in a game that is unlikely to be overly entertaining for the neutral this weekend.

Cardiff vs West Brom tip: Cardiff to win & under 3.5 goals
