Burton vs Birmingham prediction

Burton Albion appeared to be more or less relegated just a few months ago but the appointment of Gary Bowyer as well as the signings of some experienced and talented individuals has allowed the Brewers to jump out of the bottom four and the relegation places for now. They were held to a goalless draw by Exeter City at St James Park on Good Friday.

They now face a Birmingham City side that have already clinched the League One title but, after losing the EFL Trophy final to Peterborough United at Wembley Stadium last weekend, the Blues would be searching for the record EFL points tally of 106, set by Reading in 2006. They were held to a goalless draw, though, by struggling Crawley Town the other day.

This is a massive game for Burton and they will believe they can score against a potentially slightly demotivated Birmingham side and it could end up being an end of season thriller.
