Bristol Rovers vs Oldham prediction

Darrell Clarke was left angered by Bristol Rovers’ performance at the weekend as Gas suffered a 3-1 defeat to Chesterfield at the Technique Stadium in Derbyshire. They have now suffered four defeats from four across all competitions, despite being tipped up to challenge for the title, let alone just for promotion from the fourth-tier.

They now face an Oldham Athletic side that gained promotion back to the EFL by winning the National League playoffs last season. The Latics come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Swindon Town at Boundary Park to mean that they themselves are winless in four games across all competitions this season.

Neither of these two sides have started the season well, albeit the visitors have been better, but home advantage and now a desperation to win should mean backing Rovers is the way to go for this one at the Memorial Ground.

Bristol Rovers vs Oldham tip: Double chance – Bristol Rovers to win or draw
