Brann come into this one on the back of a 2-1 win away from home against Tromso to sit third in the Eliteserien in Norway. In the third qualifying round of this competition, they managed to defeat fellow Scandinavians Hacken by two goals to one on aggregate, despite losing the second-leg at home in Norway.
They now face an AEK Larnakas side that will be hoping to go deep into UEFA competition once again to repeat the Cypriot improvement in club football in Europe. They most recently overcame Legia Warsaw by five goals to three on aggregate, despite losing the second-leg by two goals to one in the Polish capital.
AEK Larnakas and Brann have both shown themselves to be good at getting off to good starts against sides, and both teams scoring therefore seems a good bet for this one.
