Bologna Preview: Bologna push for Europe
Bologna begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just a point and a place outside of the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots as they prepare for the final of the Coppa Italia later this month against an underperforming AC Milan side.
They have been magnificent in the last few months with former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano at the helm but they have now managed just one victory in their last four matches in Serie A as a result of their goalless draw with Udinese in Friuli last weekend.
Juventus Preview: Juve’s unconvincing performances
Juventus have taken advantage of Bologna’s recent stutter as the Bianconeri begin the match day sitting just above Bologna as a result of the visitors’ comfortable 2-0 defeat of Monza at the Allianz Stadium in Turin last weekend.
Despite recently leapfrogging Bologna, the Old Lady have been a little underwhelming in terms of their performance level following the sacking of Thiago Motta and the appointment of former Juventus player Igor Tudor during the March international break.
Bologna Team News: A few injuries

Juventus Team News: Yildiz suspended
Turkey international attacker Kenan Yildiz was sent off last weekend against Monza and he is now missing through suspension for this one, whilst Lloyd Kelly is now absent through injury.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Veiga, Costa; McKennie, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso; Gonzalez, Conceicao; Kolo Muani
Unavailable: Kelly (Injured), Bremer (Injured), Juan Cabal (Injured), Yildiz (Suspended), Milik (Injured)
Questionable: Gatti (Injured), Koopmeiners (Injured), Vlahovic (Injured)
Bologna vs Juventus Prediction
Bologna lost their manager Motta to Juventus last summer as well as some key players like Riccardo Calafiori and Joshua Zirkzee to Arsenal and Manchester United respectively but they have arguably been improved this season. Their performance level and ceiling is higher than their upcoming opponents with Juventus struggling for any sort of rhythm, albeit grinding out results. However, with home advantage, Bologna are firm favourites at the Renato Dall’Ara.
