Blackpool vs Burton prediction

Ian Evatt remains under intense scrutiny at Bloomfield Road. Blackpool are in the bottom four and the relegation zone ahead of the weekend, albeit did back up a 3-2 defeat of Port Vale by sharing a goalless draw with automatic promotion hopefuls Cardiff City away from home last week.

Burton Albion, with former Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer at the helm, are just four points ahead of their opposition. The Brewers themselves got a big win against high flyers last week as they defeated Bradford City by two goals to one.

Blackpool will likely only come out on the front foot should the situation become desperate and Burton will be content with avoiding defeat and so a low-scoring encounter appears likely on the Lancastrian coast.
