Athletic Bilbao vs Valencia prediction

Athletic Bilbao scored four second-half goals against Alaves last week, with their 2-4 triumph against the relegation-battlers reigniting their push for a European place.

Valencia, meanwhile, lost 0-2 to a heavily-rotated Atletico Madrid side last Saturday, and their season total of 39 points is unlikely to be enough to survive the drop, despite the fact there are a number of teams below them at the moment.

Their fixture run to end the season isn't exactly accommodating either, so a loss here would leave them anxiously looking over their shoulder with just three games remaining.

It's difficult to have much confidence in the injury-hit visitors right now though, so we're siding with the hosts in this one.
