AS Roma are likely to come out of the blocks quickly in a bid to get on top of their opponents quickly. But Lazio will be ready for them as they look to at least cap off what has been a frustrating season by putting a big dent in the European ambitions of their inter-city rivals. It’s the inconsistency of Lazio which has been their biggest kryptonite this season and 12 draws hasn’t helped either, the second most of any team in the top half of the table.
This will be a blood and thunder battle with both clubs trading blows on the pitch. Whoever keeps their composure are likely to come out on top but with Roma needing three points, they’ll surely be aggressive in pushing bodies forward, which will stretch Lazio defensively but also open the door for their attackers to take advantage of some extra space in behind.
