Aryna Sabalenka vs Hailey Baptiste prediction

Aryna Sabalenka continued the defence of her Miami Open title with a straight sets win over Qinwen Zheng. The world number one made a fast start, racing into a 5-1 lead as she took the first set. Sabalenka broke at the start of the second and held serve to win 6-3 6-4 after one hour and 25 minutes. She now has a 20-1 win-loss record in 2026, with the only defeat coming in the Australian Open final against Elena Rybakina.

She faces Hailey Baptiste next. The American reached the quarter-finals of a Masters 1000 for the first time after beating Jelena Ostapenko. Baptiste was clutch on serve, saving nine out of 10 break points on her way to winning 6-3 6-4. She has not dropped a set in any of her four matches so far in the tournament.

Baptiste has done brilliantly to get this far, but Sabalenka has been untroubled in Miami so far and is the overwhelming favourite to advance.
