Although it would take an unlikely sequence of events for Angers to drop into the relegation play-off spot, they are certainly tempting fate with their recent performances.

Alexandre Dujeux's men are now seven games without a win following their limp 3-1 defeat to relegation-fighting Auxerre last weekend, and it is clear that performances have taken a significant dip of late.

Strasbourg come into this one at a low ebb after their UEFA Conference League last-four exit at the hands of Rayo Vallecano on Thursday, with their 0-1 defeat to the Spanish side a repeat of their first-leg loss in Spain a week prior.

The eighth-placed visitors have no realistic chance of finishing in a European position at this point, so it is difficult to see them being up for this. Angers, meanwhile, have scored the fewest goals in Ligue 1 this season, so under 2.5 goals is our prediction.
