Al Riyadh vs Al Shabab prediction

Al Riyadh come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Al Khaleej at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium at the weekend in a game in which they scored twice deep, deep into second-half stoppage-time. That ended a five-match winless run of form as they sit tucked inside the top-half of the Saudi Pro League table ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.

They now face an Al Shabab side that, under the management of former Turkey boss Fatih Terim, have been one of the ‘best of the rest’ in the Saudi Arabian top-flight this season. They pulled off an impressive 3-1 defeat of Al Ahli the other day with a brace of goals scored by Abderrazak Hamdallah before he was then sent off late on in the game.

Al Riyadh had been coasting towards the end of the season and now they’ve finally ended their poor run of form, they may well coast again and siding with the stronger Al Shabab looks the way to go for this one.

Al Riyadh vs Al Shabab tip: Double chance – Al Shabab to win or draw
