Al Hilal vs Gwangju prediction

Al Hilal have failed to take advantage of Al Ittihad stuttering at the top-of-the-table in the Saudi Pro League, most recently sharing a 2-2 draw with Al Shabab the other day in a game in which they were 2-1 up via goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Al Dawsari. They defeated Pakhakor by four goals to one in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League last month.

They now face a Gwangju side that currently sit second in the table after ten matches of the 2025 K League season, sitting four points behind Daejeon Hana Citizen. The South Koreans managed to defeat Seoul by two goals to one in the capital city at the weekend. They came from 2-0 down to defeat Vissel Kobe by three goals to two in the previous round of this competition.

Al Hilal have been a shadow of themselves this season and yet remain generally strong in both Saudi Arabia and on the continent. They are favourites for a potentially fun, entertaining clash.

Al Hilal vs Gwangju tip: Al Hilal to win & both teams to score
