Afghanistan vs Pakistan prediction

In the Diamond Jubilee Tournament thus far, Pakistan shared a goalless draw with Bangladesh’s U23 side before Afghanistan edged past Maldives by a goal to nil. After that, Pakistan then hammered the Maldives 3-0 while Afghanistan were held to a goalless draw with Bangladesh U23’s. That means it is winner takes all in this final round to fixtures at the National Football Stadium in Male, albeit a draw actually opens it up for Bangladesh U23.

Pakistan were the more convincing of teams in their victory against the Maldives and they do have a little bit more pedigree in their squad with Altrincham winger Otis Khan and Mjallby defender Abdullah Iqbal.

Afghanistan are a lot more limited, despite possessing Notts County forward Maziar Kouhyar, and a low-scoring Pakistani victory is to be expected in the Maldives.

Afghanistan vs Pakistan tip: Pakistan to win & under 3.5 goals
