Aberdeen vs FCSB prediction

Aberdeen come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Greenock Morton in the second round of the Scottish League Cup at the weekend. The Dandies had begun with back-to-back 2-0 losses to start their league campaign. They fell away quite dramatically in the second-half of last season under Jimmy Thelin.

They now face an FCSB side that, formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, have been unconvincing in Europe so far this season. They edged past Inter Club d’Escaldes before a surprise defeat to Shkendija in the UEFA Champions League. The Romanians reached this stage with a 6-3 aggregate loss of Drita Gjilan last week.

FCSB have been unconvincing this season and Aberdeen, with their home advantage, will fancy their chances of taking the game to them up in Scotland this midweek.

Aberdeen vs FCSB tip: Both teams to score
