Yuliia Starodubtseva vs Angela Fita Boluda prediction
Yuliia Starodubtseva was close to making her second final of the season in Paris last week, but she lost to Madison Keys in the last four, despite winning the first set. The Ukrainian excelled at the Charleston Open last month, defeating Keys and McCartney Kessler on her way to reaching the final. However, she was unable to win the title as she lost to Jessica Pegula in straight sets. Starodubtseva is closing in on the top 50 of the world rankings for the first time in her career.
She takes on Angela Fita Boluda in round one. The 26-year-old is ranked just inside the top 200 in the world. The Spaniard won a lower-level title in Bonita Springs earlier this month, while she has also progressed to three other finals.
This is a match that Starodubtseva will be expected to win in straight sets, as she attempts a deep run in Rabat ahead of the second major of the season.
