Yulia Putintseva’s recent revival will be put to the test by Tereza Valentova.

The Kazakhstani world number 77 has been solid if unspectacular this season, but it has seen the 31-year-old rise back into the top 100.

Valentova’s meteoric rise has stalled around the top 50 in recent months but the 19-year-old does come into this on the back of a runner-up finish at the Saint Malo 125.
