An incredible showing by the Yorkshire top order and two players in particular, saw them claim Roses bragging rights at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday. A brilliant hundred from Jonny Bairstow, backed up by a brutal 90 from Will Luxton saw Yorkshire post a whopping 236/6 batting first, enough for them to defend on a perfect pitch for batting.
But whilst that result was excellent for the White Rose, they can’t let it go to waste here. Derbyshire Falcons have been down the bottom of the North Group all season and have lost nine from 12 in the group stage so far. Yorkshire will be expected to pick up another win in this one.
