The prediction

The Western Bulldogs have reestablished their credentials since the return of Marcus Bontempelli.  A convincing victory against the GWS Giants in Canberra came off the back of a demolition job against St Kilda a week prior.

Port Adelaide were anything but convincing in a home victory against the North Melbourne Kangaroos. Their performance was in stark contrast to their gutsy win in Sydney against the Swans and the inspired 30-point victory against the Hawks in gather round. Three wins in a row, however, has gone some way in rescuing the Port Adelaide season and they now sit equal with cross-town rivals the Adelaide Crows on four wins and within distance of a top four birth.

The Bulldogs are in the top eight due to superior percentage and they have all the momentum heading into this one. The impact that the captain’s return has had cannot be understated and we think that the Bulldogs can win this one at home against the Power.
