The prediction
The West Coast Eagles begin Round 24 of the 2026 AFL campaign sitting third-from-bottom. The Western Australians succumbed to a 54-point loss to the GWS Giants last week, extending their losing streak to ten matches.
Hawthorn, on the other hand, are heading into the play-offs on the back of a strong regular season as they head into the final day sitting fourth in the table behind runaway leaders Fremantle, a strong Syndey Swans side and defending champions the Brisbane Lions.
Hawthorn most recently shared a thrilling tie against Collingwood and they have to be viewed as firm favourites to finish the regular season with a flourish.
