The prediction

Fremantle, the minor premiers this year, are staring in the face of a straight-sets exit after losing their home qualifying final to Hawthorn last week.

The Dockers look like they may have dipped in form at just the wrong time of the season, but they have earned another bite at the cherry here after winning 19 of their games in the regular season - a club record.

They run into a team who are simply on fire though, with Geelong's 33-point victory over Carlton in the first elimination final their seventh win in succession.

The Cats have the wind between their sails right now, and with Fremantle seemingly lacking belief in attack at the most important point of the season, this could be one to go against the odds and back the visitors.
