The prediction
The Western Bulldogs come into this one on the back of finishing the regular season with a 21-point defeat of Melbourne after a dramatic tie with Carlton had initially backed up what back-to-back defeats at the hands of Fremantle and North Melbourne.
Collingwood were strong for much of the regular season but they eventually slipped down to ninth in the table. Their final game came at home to defending champions the Brisbane Lions and they succumbed to a 63-point annihilation.
Collingwood have remained steady in terms of performances with inconsistent results but they may well be the value bet to come out on top against the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium in Docklands.
