The prediction

2025 was a torrid year for West Coast, who earned just one victory throughout the whole of the AFL season. but they have already surpassed that tally having played just three fixtures in the current campaign.

The Eagles claimed back-to-back wins by edging out Port Adelaide by just two points last weekend, in their opponents' backyard.

Having sat out last week's round, Sydney return to action having won two of their three games to date, although their sole defeat did come in their most recent contest, losing by 17 points against Hawthorn at the MCG.

West Coast have certainly exceeded expectations so far but it will be a tall order for them to win a third game on the bounce against a Sydney side who boast a hugely talented roster. However, the hosts have shown plenty of endeavour so far and this is unlikely to be a rout for Sydney.
