Verona vs Atalanta prediction

Atalanta still have plenty of work to do if they are to get close to breaking into the European place with them current stuck in mid-table. But that Fiorentina victory could prove the start of a revival for La Dea, who’ve won just three league games so far this season. Their status as draw specialists has proven more of a hindrance than a help with plenty of dropped points across the campaign. No team has registered more draws than them in Serie A.

Verona look like no-hopers at present and just six points from 13 games is testament to that. Like Fiorentina, Verona are yet to win a single league game this season, drawing six and losing seven in total. They’ve scored just eight goals, the lowest of any Serie A side so far this campaign, so it’s easy to see where their struggles lie.

When taking into account the failings of their opponents in front of goal, it’s hard to see Atalanta’s backline being breached over the course of this match. The visitors should have enough to find the net themselves at least once, so back Atalanta to come out on top here.

Verona vs Atalanta tip: Verona to win
