Vardar Skopje won the North Macedonian top-flight with ease last year, winning the title for the first time since the 2019-20 season. They did manage to get past La Fiorita in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season before a 6-2 aggregate loss to Lausanne in a tie in which they did win the home leg.
Having defended the Finnish Veikkausliiga title, Kuopion Palloseura are back for more after reaching the knockout play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last year. KuPS are again top-of-the-table domestically after a 4-0 hammering of HJK Helsinki in their most recent outing.
KuPS are in good and high-scoring form at the minute and so both teams scoring seems a decent bet for this one at the Tose Proeski Arena in the North Macedonian capital city.
