Union SG vs Marseille prediction

If Union SG are to garner a positive result out of this contest, their backline will need to be at their very best in order to keep the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mason Greenwood and Igor Paixao quiet for Marseille. It was Aubameyang who won the night last time out against Newcastle, the former Arsenal forward scoring both goals as Robert De Zerbi’s side came back from a goal down to win 2-1.

But the hosts have every reason to be positive after getting the better of Galatasaray away from home. Such a result will have given them the confidence to take the fight to any of their opponents across the remaining league phase fixtures, especially if they can defend as well as they did in Istanbul.

Expect them to keep things tight again here and look to frustrate Marseille, with the visitors having yet to score more than one goal in an away league phase fixture. When also factoring in that Union SG have failed to find the net on more than one occasion in each of their last four Champions League games, backing under 2.5 goals has to be favoured between these two sides.

Union SG vs Marseille Tip: Under 2.5 goals
